about a year ago i stumbled across the what i wore today drawing pool on flickr, and thought: what a great idea! i am so going to do that!
well, better late than never, right? i'm really making a conscious effort to be a little more creative this year. let's face it. last year was the worst year for me in terms of creative output. i just sat around not making things all year long. just wasting away. twiddling my thumbs. doing nothing.
i literally haven't drawn anything in a year! i certainly haven't drawn a person in much, much longer than that. i know that this drawing looks nothing like me, and i'm okay with that. it's a start. i'm looking forward to drawing becoming easier and easier for me again. i'd like to get back some of the precision that i once had. i hope this isn't a long and frustrating road.
but, you know what they say: practice makes perfect.
