since when is it cool to drink and drive?

Okay, okay, I come from a small town where drinking and driving is commonplace... but only because the streets are usually unoccupied by other drivers. I no longer live in such a place. So why is it that moments ago I not only heard Bon Jovi's "Dead or Alive" blaring from someone's car stereo, but also the drunk karaoke sing-along serenade from driver to passenger? I can only assume that they were drunk because both seemed to be having the time of their lives! Bon Jovi does not equal good times. Ever. Unless you are drunk out of your mind!
